We have had Finn Construction & Cabinetry work on two projects for our house. The deck he built has been in heavy use for 10 years and is still in excellent condition. His design and suggestions on materials resulted in a functional and low maintenance result, and his crew was quick and competent. The quality of work was excellent and Peter had his team do minor follow up to make sure we were completely satisfied even after we had paid for the project.

The good experience on our deck led to a complete kitchen remodel with Finn Construction and Cabinetry, involving cabinets, countertops, floors, appliances, lighting and a new skylight. Our kitchen had an unusual shape and custom woodworking was required to make the cabinets work with the kitchen layout. Peter came up with an excellent solution and the cabinetry work was beautiful. There was excellent attention to detail from his crew and Peter was always available to give us the benefit of his experience when we had to make decisions and also to coordinate the work of all the trades required. The emphasis was always on a low stress experience and a quality result. The transformation from our original kitchen to the new one with better storage, more light and a more functional design has made cooking and entertaining in our house a real pleasure. From the start Peter and Gary were willing to work with us and provided some helpful advice to improve on the plans that we had developed. “It was a fun process designing the cabinets to look and function exactly how I wanted. I love to cook and bake and really put my kitchens to work. Full extension, soft close, self close drawers and lots of cabinet pullouts were a must. I brought in the dimensions of my soup pot so I knew the drawers under the cook top were deep enough and the height of my Kitchenaid mixer to verify that it would sit comfortably under my microwave cabinet. The best part of this process is working in the finished product. Not only is it a gorgeous kitchen, it is highly functional and efficient. "I talked to a lot of kitchen cabinets businesses before deciding to go with Finn Construction and Cabinetry. From the initial contact our plans were professionally drawn and new ideas that we did not know about where brought to our attention to be implemented into our design (pull out drawers and lazy Susan’s ext). They made sure that every detail was what we wanted. Being able to choose any color we wanted was by far one of the most important parts of the whole process. They have their own paint room so they can match just what color you want. Peter and Gary made the whole process very easy and painless. They spent a lot of time going over the plans, onsite measurements and final ok. They kept us posted on what was going on at all times and if we ever had a question they where always there to answer any of our questions. The price was very fair. They were on time and on budget. The installers made sure that every thing fit just perfect. The cabinets are just what we wanted and they are beautiful and everyone that sees them loves them.
